The Center for Nuclear Industrial Policy (CNIP) is dedicated to fulfilling its mission as a private think tank that not only addresses electricity production through nuclear power plants but also provides rational alternatives through research on various aspects of the nuclear industry. These aspects include the complete nuclear fuel cycle, hydrogen production from water using nuclear energy, and the production of industrial heat sources. CNIP aims to lead rational discourse to ensure these alternatives are incorporated into policy.
CNIP concentrates its research capabilities particularly on policies for new businesses and technologies in the future of the nuclear power industry, workforce development, and regulatory improvements. By addressing both domestic and international issues faced by the nuclear power sector, CNIP endeavors to contribute to creating sustainable development conditions for the nuclear industry as a carbon-free energy source.
